Cost of .dk domains set to rise

Attention all website owners and entrepreneurs in Denmark! There’s a minor change on the horizon. Really, it’s minor, nothing to worry about. Starting from the April 1st, 2023, the prices of Danish website domain names are set to rise. This means that you will need to pay more to register or renew your .dk domain name.

Per April 1st, 2023, DK-Hostmaster will raise the annual fee for a .dk domain name from DKK 60 to DKK 70. This is due to the continously rising costs and a result of the current inflation rate we experience in Europe alongside increasing costs for IT security.

Regulation of other fees

The following fees are also being regulated on the same date:

  • Transfer fee is increased from DKK 60 to DKK 70.
  • Cancellation fee is increased from DKK 70 to DKK 81.66.
  • Fees for sending invoices are waived (Betalingsservice, e-Boks and e-invoice).

In addition, the possibility of receiving an invoice by letter is removed.
