(PC) Stuck on “Press any key to start” screen? Here’s how I fixed it.
The popular first-person shooter Call of Duty Warzone recently dropped a new version. Warzone 2.0. But it hasn't been without bugs.
Sometimes, players may experience login issues that prevent them from accessing the game. This can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to try and fix the problem.
I tried the classics, such as restarting your game and pressing “Scan and Repair”, but without success. After researching a bit further, I saw that it was a common issue on XBOX, but not many experienced it on PC.
Luckily, one redditor came up with a little tutorial, that seemed far-fetched, but actually worked wonders.
How to fix Warzone 2.0 when you can’t get passed the “Press any key to start”
- Firstly, go to your battle.net account setting and remove your phone number.
- Launch Warzone
- My game now automatically let me set it up for the first time, which it didn’t at first.
- At one point, it will eventually ask for you to re-add your phone number.
After this, my Warzone started working again, and I could join any game mode.
